What’s on at Woodvale – Wednesday
Good Morning welcome at the Woodvale social centre.
Enjoy a selection of tasty Morning Tea refreshments and beverages.
Group guided exercises: Start the day off by enjoying some guided exercises– to help assist with the flexibility, mobility, strength and balance of the body.
Morning Activities – Customer choice:
Concentration and Memory Games: Have fun with your friends and enjoy a selection of assorted traditional concentration and memory games together.
Quiz : Sit down and enjoy some laughs trying to answer Trivia questions.
Creative Crafts: Enjoy spending some time Crafting with your friends, socialising and creating a special Craft item that you will be able to take home at the end of the day to admire. Lets start making Easter Bonnets.
Enjoy a freshly cooked lunch meal followed by a delicious desert from our resident chef Adrian.
Afternoon Activities – Customer choice:
Tradition Bingo : Have a fun game of Bingo with your friends and win mini- chocolates in the process. Have your exact numbers called out in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line format to win-shouting out “Bingo“each time.
Toss the beanbags : Throw the bean bags and see if you can aim for the hoops. Is Underarm or overarm a better throw for you?
Assorted Card Games : Have a game of Rummy, go fish, snap, Patience’s or a game of your choice, play on your own or with others.
If you would prefer a restful and tranquil activity, feel free to spend some time in our calming private sensory room, sit on a lovely rocking chair in our nursery room, spend some time outside in our lovely garden area, read the daily newspaper, do a Jigsaw puzzle or read from our wide range of magazines and books.
Finish the day off with some lovely freshly made Afternoon Tea and beverages before heading off home at 3pm.
