What’s On at Woodvale – Wednesday
ITINERARY:
Good morning, Welcome at the Woodvale social centre.
Enjoy a selection of tasty Morning Tea refreshments and beverages.
Group Exercise: Start the day off by enjoying some group-based exercises to help assist with the flexibility, mobility, strength and balance of the body.
Morning Activities – Customer Choice:
Movie Quiz: Enjoy yourself and take part in a game of Quiz questions.
Have fun and test your knowledge in a variety of areas, from general culture to more specialised subjects. Challenge yourself and answer as many questions as you can, and as correctly as possible.
Giant Chess (outside) – Have a sit and watch others or join in with the fun and get some fresh air outside while playing games.
Creative Crafts with Jen: Enjoy spending some time Crafting with your friends, socialising and creating a special Craft item that you will be able to take home at the end of the day to admire.
Enjoy a freshly cooked lunch meal followed by a delicious dessert from our resident chef Adrian.
Morning Activities – Customer choice:
Pool Table: Enjoy a game of Pool with your friends, take a shot and use a cue stick to strike the ball and pocket the balls to win the game.
Quoits: Enjoy a traditional game of Quoits – have fun and aim to be precise by throwing as many rings over the target, or as close to the target, as possible.
Scrabble/Draughts/Chess – Have a game with your friends and see who is competitive.
If you would prefer a restful and tranquil activity, feel free to spend some time in our private sensory room, sit on a lovely rocking chair in our nursery room, spend some time outside in our lovely garden area, read the daily newspaper, do a jigsaw puzzle, or read from our wide range of magazines and books.
Finish the day off with some lovely freshly made Afternoon Tea and beverages before heading off home at 3pm.
