With fishing being one of the most popular past times for Australians, we are thrilled that programs like Fishability have been established. With support from well-trained and experienced volunteers, this wonderful organisation is opening up the doors to children and adults with different abilities to experience the joy of fishing.
On the 12th of April, some of our customers took off for a spot of fishing with the Fishability’s team at Hillarys. A wonderful day was had by all and it seems we may have some fishing talent in our midst as everyone managed to come home with a catch.
After the success of this fishing expedition, we will be making this a more regular activity for our customers at Community Vision if they fancy baiting up and casting a line. We’ll be rotating between fishing at Mindarie and Hillarys to make sure we have an exciting and new trip each time.
